The SXL RF protectors provide surge capabilities in accordance with IEC 100-4-5, 8 s/20 s at 18 kA (minimum) (DIN 30 kA) and IEC 1000-4-5, 10 s/350 s at 10 kA. The frequency ranges covered are the 800 MHz to 2,300 MHz DSXL and DSXL-D, the 1,200 MHz to 2,800 MHz PSXL, the 1,700 MHz to 2,300 MHz PSXL-D, and the 1,800 MHz to 3,800 MHz and 4,200 MHz to 6,000 MHz LSXL.
Return loss for the SXL Series protectors is above 26 dB (>20 dB for the LSXL units). Insertion loss is ≤0.1 dB (0.2 dB typical for the LSXL), and RF power is 300 W for N connectorized devices (10 W LSXL) or 750 W using 7/16 DIN dc blocked connectors. Surge throughput energy is <500 J (6 kV/3 kA 8 s/20 s); peak let-through voltage is ±1 V (6 kV/3 kA 8 s/20 s).
